Our lab combines experimental and computational genomics. We are always interested in applications from talented and committed individuals who are interested in working with or generating novel genomics datasets and who have the computational and statistical background to conduct downstream analyses. We cannot aid prospective students in entering graduate studies at Stanford and are typically only able to facilitate internships for students enrolled at Stanford.
Applicants, should have a Ph.D in a relevant field, demonstrated experience in research, excellent writing and communication skills, a record of peer-reviewed publications, and motivation for independent research. When contacting us please provide a cover letter including description of research experience and potential project(s) of interest in our lab; a curriculum vitae; and contact information for two references. Furthermore, it is highly regarded if the candidate demonstrates preparedness and eligibility to apply for fellowship funding. Stanford limits recruitment of postdocs to individuals within five years of their Ph.D. As such, we can only rarely consider applicants who are more than three years from completion of their Ph.D.
We welcome all Stanford Ph.D. students with related interests to approach us for a rotation. When contacting us please provide an introductory note and a short curriculum vitae
We invite all Stanford undergraduate students with related interests to approach us for undergraduate research training in PATH199. When contacting us please provide an introductory note and a copy of your transcript.
